Information for authors


Authors who like to participate on the Seminar are kindly invited to send their proposals (name of the author(s), title, short abstract) to the e-mail bostjan.batagelj[at]fe.uni-lj.si no later than 14 November 2025.


If your article is accepted, you will receive a notification from the organizer. Following notification you have to send final article/presentation/poster until 19 December 2025.


Authors have free entrance to the Seminar on the day of their lecture. For full participation on the Seminar (three days) authors are entitled to 30 % discount.

Important dates

  • Submission of title, short abstract of the topic (up to 200 words) and contact info: 14 November 2025
  • Notification of acceptance: 19 December 2025
  • Submission of an article/poster: 16 January 2026

General information and instructions for authors

You can select either oral presentation of an article (MS Power Point or similar) or presentation of the poster. Your article or poster abstract will be included in the official e-proceedings. Please ensure that the presentation slides (in PPT or PDF format) are prepared and submitted prior to the start of the seminar.

An article in any form (article or poster) must be submitted not later than 16 January 2026.

Articles are not peer-reviewed.

How to write an article

  1. An article should be prepared according to the template (Microsoft Word DOC, Adobe PDF).
  2. An article should not have header and footer, remarks, and pagination.
  3. Length of an article shell be up to 4 pages long.
  4. File for submission should be in Microsoft Word (.docx) or Adobe PDF.

How to prepare a presentation

  1. Graphical template for presentation is not prescribed.
  2. Authors can give short introduction of their company (on one slide), but please avoid any kind of commercial advertising.
  3. File for submission should be in Microsoft PowerPoint or PDF format.

How to prepare a poster

  1. Poster should be in A0 (864 x 1118 mm) size, portrait position.
  2. Graphical template for the poster is not prescribed.
  3. File for submission should be in PDF format, including all fonts.
  4. Font size should be large enough for printing in A4 format (for proceedings).
  5. Poster in A0 format should be printed by author him/herself.
