Tehnike sledenja izvoru signala

POVZETEK
Za pozicioniranje, lociranje, orientiranje, namerjanje, sledenje in sorodne postopke, se uporabljajo različne tehnike sledenja izvoru signala - od preprostega poskušanja tipanja amplitude in ugibanja optimalne smeri, do koherentnih fazno-sklenjenih monopulznih sistemov. V kratkem preglednem predavanju bodo predstavljene glavne tehnike sledenja izvoru: tipanje signala, preklapljanje snopov, stožčasto skaniranje in monopulzni princip. Narejena bo primerjava med sistemi na podlagi glavnih karakteristik kot sta npr. kompleksnost sprejemnika ter dosegljiva ločljivost. Monopulzni princip kot najbolj sofisticiran predstavnik tehnik sledenja izvoru pa bo predstavljen tudi eksperimentalno. Na koncu bodo omenjena še področja aplikacij predstavljenih tehnik.

ABSTRACT
Signal Source Tracking Techniques
Different signal source tracking techniques are used for positioning, locationing, orientating, pointing, tracking and similar procedures - from a simple amplitude sampling and educated guessing (steptrack in satellite communications), to coherent phase-locked monopulse systems. In this short overview the main signal source tracking techniques will be presented: amplitude sensing, lobe switching, conical scanning and the monopulse principle. A comparison between these techniques, based on their main characteristics, such as receiver complexity and possible resolution, will be conducted. The monopulse principle as the most sophisticated representative of signal source tracking techniques will be also presented experimentally. At the end, the possible applications of presented techniques will be discussed.
