ABSTRACT:
Stabilization Methods for Single-Loop Optoelectronic Oscillator
Opto-Electronic Oscillator (OEO) is an already known device for generating microwave and millimetre-wavelength signals. With a high quality factor of its optical delay line it is possible to achieve low phase noise, which is independent from frequency. However, frequency drift and side modes are still a problem. To solve those two problems, three different methods were developed in our laboratory.
