Mirowave Devices based on Barium Strontium Titanate Substrates

Thin film ferroelectric materials are receiving increased attention because of their potential in producing tunable microwave circuits. We present ferroelectric materials and their use in tunable microwave devices. Frequency agile antenna, filter and phase shifter made on thin film BaSrTiO3 (BST) substrate are designed and manufactured. S parameters, radiation patterns and linearity of these devices are measured and presented.
